I am a special education teacher, in my fourth year of teaching. This is actually my second year teaching special education, previously teaching one year as a general education teacher and one year as an intervention teacher. I LOVE teaching and I specifically LOVE teaching special education. I live and breathe special education strategies and skills, and it fills my bucket every single day.

I also am the proud fiance of a medical student, Nathan. This has been quite a transition this year, but it brings more joy than frustration. This is the first year that I am not in school, that I am supporting a full-time medical student, and loving every minute of it! Life is all about balance, finding joy in small moments, and looking for new ways to appreciate time together, even if it is sitting next to each other studying for the next test!
